After taking a little break from art  I thought that I would begin again by posting this little sketch I did a few months ago.  A modern day impressionist painter named JanettMarie recently completed a series of 100 apple paintings.  She then decided that her next series would be 100 cups.  Both her beautiful work and looking forward to her new series has inspired me to return to a goal that I had earlier set for myself - painting a series of chairs.  I have one painting drying on the easel . . . I will show you that painting and the inside of my studio - soon!
